Quartz Surfaces

Quartz slabs are man-made and engineered to be a very hard and durable surface suitable for high traffic areas where natural stone might not be an ideal choice. The slabs are formed in factories with Breton equipment by combining about 90 percent ground quartz (sand material) with about 10 percent resins, polymers and pigments. This material is aesthetically pleasing and found in a wide range of colors and patterns. Quartz is also scratch and stain resistant and does not need maintenance. Avoid putting anything hot on the surface because quartz is sensitive to heat due to its resin and polymer ingredients. There are many popular brands of quartz slabs available including CaesarStone Corian,Silestone, Hanstone, MSI, Quorastone, Formica, Wilsonart, LG Viatera,Santa Margherita Quartz and more.
