Quartzite Surfaces
Quartzite is a naturally occurring metamorphic rock. This mineral comes from sandstone which undergoes high pressure and heat under the earth’s crust. Quartzite is generally less porous and harder than marble and granite which makes it more resistant to stains and scratches. This stone is commonly mistaken for marble because of its very similar color, veining & texture. Similar to other natural stones, it is recommended to seal you surfaces once a year to help repel water, oils and other kitchen liquids. You can find numerous shades of colors and designs of this stone in the market such as Taj Mahal, Calacatta Super White Quartz, Fantacy White, Classic White, Fusion Blue Quartz and more.
